NACVA Names Shelia Darby to its Ethics Oversight Board

The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts® (NACVA®), the organization that has trained over 35,000 CPAs and other valuation and consulting professionals in the field of business valuation, financial forensics, and various related specialty areas serving the legal and business communities, announced that Shelia Darby has been named a member of its Ethics Oversight Board (EOB), which is charged with the monitoring of NACVA’s membership with regards to ethical and professional Standards.

“The EOB is charged with the monitoring of NACVA’s membership and certificants with regards to ethical an professional Standards,” said NACVA’s Executive Director, Jonathan Jackson, MBA. “The EOB’s responsibilities include creating policies for educating, monitoring, and enforcing compliance along wit facilitating awareness and enhancing the understanding of NACVA’s Standards. When necessary, it investigates and determines whether a member and/or certificant has violated NACVA’s Standards.”
